In the Pacific Northwest it seems as if we are always in some sort of transitional weather season as it is rarely incredibly cold, or warm, or consistently dry, etc. Because of this a jacket or coat is almost always a necessary article of clothing all year round. I found this Topshop beauty at my local Nordstrom and the weight of it, not being to heavy or to light, makes it the perfect transitional third piece for any outfit. The camel color is incredibly trendy right now but also a classic that will stand once the 70s trend has passed. This neutral paired with my new favorite color combination of cobalt and wine makes for a fun almost gothic themed outfit.
I am still in love with this Forever21 designer knockoff clutch and its lunch box-esque qualities but the real standout other than the coat for me in this outfit would be the Cara earrings. I always love a good Dolce & Gabbana inspired gothic jewelry piece and these earrings are no exception. Only $28 I was suprised and delighted by the attention to detail in this costume pieces and thy have quickly become a new favorite.
Have a wonderful Monday and shop today's look below. Cheers!-Rebecca
