Get Inspired: Jumpsuits in the Fall

Find this look here
Had you asked me this summer if I was planning on transitioning my multitude of jumpsuits into my Fall/Winter wardrobe I most likely would have answered: of course not. Not only would I have said that, but I never would have imagined that I would be compiling a list of new winter jumpsuits that I am just dying to get my hands on. Go figure.

*Now, if you are thinking: 'There is no place I could get away with wearing this, ESPECIALLY at work!' keep reading, there's something for you too. *

As I have said many times before, one piece outfits (jumpsuits, rompers) make perfect sense when you are looking to throw to together a quick, polished outfit. The fact that the seasons are changing doesn't affect this versatility although it may mean that you are going to need a jacket on top of that jumper or a pair of tights under your romper.

My 'aha' moments came when I saw a short sleeved jumpsuit from Nordstrom's BP department ( I know I am not a teen, but HOW CUTE!) and the Forever21 jumpsuit/fur coat combo to my left. I saw it and instantly knew that this trend wasn't simply confined to summer and that how to revitalize those pieces that I was just about to stick into storage.

Here are some of my current favorites that all *except the Paige* are killer steals and definitely great transitional jumpsuits for fall that would be perfect with a statement fur coat, hat and ankle boots.
And of course, I can't tell you to go find a killer faux fur coat without showing you some of my favorite style steels.

Alright, so for all of you ladies that need this to translate to work wear, try this: Start with the jumpsuit, pick either a solid color or a more sophisticated print or texture such as the lace Vince Camuto below. Next, grab a blazer, oversize, printed, whatever seems to compliment your jumpsuit and throw it on. Nothing says pulled together like a gorgeous one piece under a knockout blazer. Happy Friday and I hope you are inspired!
